Rather than blindly posting picks we should have more game threads; to go thru specific games.

True, Virginia has beaten Duke but they also are just 3-9 SU in their last 12 and 1-10 ATS in their last 11. USC has beaten some pretty good teams in Kentucky, Georgia and Ole Miss, not to mention 1 pt losses this season to Alabama and Kentucky. How could this team NOT get an NIT home game?? No one can tell me that Tenn Tech, Syracuse, Richmond or Rutgers are more deserving of a home game than South Caro.

just a matchup made for tv with two teams regionally situated and two of tourney's stronger teams. cavs have been horrible of late in post season and hard to see them motivated here.

Just looked at Feist's power ratings and he has South Carolina rated a 70.5 and Virginia a 64. Even w/4.5 pts for home, USC would still be a 2 pt chalk. Kelso Sturgeon's power ratings have Virginia favored by 6. Strange to see such a variance.
