That would be great ! It would be a pleasant surprise compared to posts of Sushi & what the fuk someone is having for dinner.
Highly recommend Phuket if you like beaches- some of the best in the world. And the party scene at Patong Beach is incredible.

Like Marine said, don't drink the water, don't use any ice, don't eat any 'fresh fruits' or vegetables, as they are fertilized in night soil.
Stay away from the Thai whores as most of them are lady bois (see Hangover II if you want further and very accurate explanation)
If you have any game, whatsoever; just stick to the 'Euro Trash'. Just double bag it to be safe
Beautiful beaches, and lots of great shopping. Some cool Muay Thai live kick boxing and exhibits such as ancient ruins, temples, etc. Also some cool wildlife out there, you can get up close and personal with some pretty cool stuff.
