We are falling behind thanks to Bush and his fundamentalist cronies keeping stem cell research from blossoming. We are no longer a science superpower.

For Christ's sake - even Nancy Reagan pleaded for Bush to soften his stance. :cursin:

i have to say...i agree with you,smurph....this is one area in which i part ways with most conservatives.....

i don`t get it...the gay stuff...the right to life stuff....

i`m not in tune with the republican party on this part of their agenda.....

if discarded fetuses can be used to cure disease....or just help in clinical study and research... or make some poor suffering person`s life easier,i`m all for it...

you can throw medical marijuana in there,too...

will there be abuses?....yeah,probably...but,you don`t cut your nose off to spite your face...

morphine can be abused....but it`s medicinal value is without question.....maybe marijuana...on a lesser level....can be of help...

never quite got marijuana as a recreational drug...tried it...didn`t like it at all...

i guess i`m in the minority on that one...
