I believe a lot of it has to do with S. Fla's 37-6 win last week against Northern Illinos, who had defeated Wake Forest the previous week. This was a somewhat misleading final as S. Fla scored 3 TD's on a 95-yard TD pass, a 55-yard punt return and a 27-yard interception return. N. Ill had more first downs and had the ball for 5 more minutes, but just didn't have the big plays. The public sees this as a rout, when it was actually closer than is led to believe. Arkansas is definitely worth a look into.
