Spain (4/1) is the Euro 2008 winner and the favorite despite its highest World Cup finish being fouth (1950). They boast the top striker tandem in the tournament with David Villa and Fernando Torres. Anything less than a first place finish will be a huge disappointment.
Brazil (5/1) has the most World Cup titles with five. This team always has an incredible collection of talent. The challenge is melding them into a cohesive group. Kaka is the biggest name of them all, and it will be great to see him on this stage.
England (6/1) is looking for its first World Cup title since 1966. Their highest recent finish was fourth in 1990. Forward Wayne Rooney has been dealing with injury problems, but fans aren?t interested in any excuses with England one of the heavy favorites.
Argentina (15/2) is a boom or bust kind of pick with coach Diego Maradona. This is an extremely talented squad, but finished just fourth in South American qualifying. Can talent prevail and allow them their first title since 1986 when Maradona was doing his playing magic on the pitch?
Germany, Holland and Italy are all 12/1. Italy is the defending champ and four-time winner, but has gotten older in key spots. Germany has three World Cup titles, but none since 1990. Holland has been historic underachievers and is looking for its first title.
