Pardon me if this is old news.
I did a search before posting and didn't find anything on this.

I've heard that spammers sometimes harvest email addresses from forums.
I just modified my profile to not show the email address in posts.
Are there any other tips to minimize exposure to spam?

nobody can get your email address from this site. i have that feature turned off.

don't click on any links that are in email that is sent to you or respond to them. you're dead meat if you do. just delete them.
