i dont suscribe to anyone being able to double on a score by a guy who returns kickoffs and punt returns and gets the 6 on top of his defense also getting credited 6.... so then, whom SHOULD get the credit for the score in fantasy football?
the defense (for a special teams play)?
or the player?
for example: devin hester returns punt--the defense forced that punt, though dont help him in getting to EZ, special teams did, though HE scored. Now if someone had hester as a wideout shoud he then get the score?
its my idea that the defense should get credited with the SCORE, though the player get credited with yardage though no score.
i mean, its bad enough half the time a stout defense gets burnt by an errant pass by their QB and blows up their scored against ppg.
i wish there were a league set up option that would allow the defense to only be responsible for scores on them, not by the opposing defense when returning a inteception or fumble.
