The company was run by idiots and the service at the store level was crap. They have been in financial trouble for years, but kept cutting the annual check to keep their name on the Bronco's stadium. Why? Well their competitor Dicks's has their name on the MLS stadium out here. They were worried that taking their name down would look like they were conceding the region in which they are headquartered. Smart move there.

I agree about the service! Sucks ass!! Don't even go there much....went there recently. Employees who helped me weren't knowledgeable about their own store and were bothered I had a question. Just a bad experience

I avoided the store, OVERPRICED for anything I ever went there for. Doesn't surprise me they are filing bk

Sports Authority has the WORST store front design ever. I mean, I liked the 80's, but I'd rather not relive it everytime I go to buy a golf glove.

I always go to Dick's Sporting Goods, find what I want and then go home, buy it off Amazon.
