I enjoyed an audiobook of Joe Peta's "Trading Bases." He does cover much of his strategy betting on baseball but that didn't leave me with too much to consider going forward (I've overkilled my brain on the subject, mind you, and have mildly recovered, and am currently in limbo (Jays are undefeated, this year)). If you are a big baseball fan then it will be worthwhile, totally.
The Stanford Wong book, mentioned by Skullduggery, is also interesting. A lot of the math I was trying to make sense of myself, when I first started going with real lines on-line about 20 years ago (was a parlay-sucker before, with surprisingly good results (NFL, at least) with their SportsSelect bullshit, which only takes parlays and rips one off by about 25-40 cents per dollar on their lines). You should be able to find a pdf of that quite easily.
I've read several others but, while finishing my last drink (until when-the-hell do I want to out again?! (hmmm...delivery)), I can't think of any that truly rocked me. Will reconsider. Is a good question and I'm curious what else gets mentioned.
