Are there any good books out there that any of you would recommend regarding sports betting?

I?m trying to get my way around Good Teams Win, Great Teams Cover, but wanted to see if there were any other good ones out there.

My all time favorite (and one 100% recommended for beginners) is Stanford Wong?s Sharp Sports Betting. It?s still a classic book for serious sports betting. The math portions are very well written and easy to understand. Some of the content is outdated, but for the most part, it's still a very useful book.

Another one I truly got a lot of info out of, is Matthew Hilger?s The Poker Mindset. Not directly related to sports betting, but the mindset aspects discussed in the book (such as focusing on long term performance rather than short term results), are relevant for sports betting as well.

I after those you want to find more, I recommend you checking amazon reviews. Do a search like "betting books" or something like that:

https://www.amazon.com/s?k=betting+books&ref=nb_sb_noss_2

Also check these couple of links, those sites list breakdown of what those books are about and mention a few more books on the topic

I enjoyed an audiobook of Joe Peta's "Trading Bases." He does cover much of his strategy betting on baseball but that didn't leave me with too much to consider going forward (I've overkilled my brain on the subject, mind you, and have mildly recovered, and am currently in limbo (Jays are undefeated, this year)). If you are a big baseball fan then it will be worthwhile, totally.

The Stanford Wong book, mentioned by Skullduggery, is also interesting. A lot of the math I was trying to make sense of myself, when I first started going with real lines on-line about 20 years ago (was a parlay-sucker before, with surprisingly good results (NFL, at least) with their SportsSelect bullshit, which only takes parlays and rips one off by about 25-40 cents per dollar on their lines). You should be able to find a pdf of that quite easily.

I've read several others but, while finishing my last drink (until when-the-hell do I want to out again?! (hmmm...delivery)), I can't think of any that truly rocked me. Will reconsider. Is a good question and I'm curious what else gets mentioned.
