I go through Easybets and Betonsports, their lines suck. Betonsports was good last season but this year the matchups stink and now they've added the possiblity of selecting a draw which I don;t like. Any recommendations for the top sportsbooks for golf purposes.

Also any thoughts on a 72 hole matchup at Betonsports where Tiger is -150 against Monty.

Spits, these would be my top choices of sportsbooks:

1/ Five Dimes Offers the largest number of 72-hole and 18-hole matchups of any of the books for PGA Tour events. Usually 30-cent lines, but the ones posted on Tuesdays are 20-cent. Decent reputation, use Neteller and great for props on other sports as well

2/ Moneyplays Not as many 18-hole matchups on offer as Five Dimes for the PGA Tour, but has recently tried to offer as many 72-hole ones (25 this week). All 72-hole lines are 20-cents with just the 18-hole ones being 30-cents. Decent reputation, have never heard a problem of slow-paying and use Neteller

3/ Olympic Have made a push for golf action with producing a huge number of 72-hole matchups (29 this week). They are all 30-cent lines, but with Five Dimes and Moneyplays combine to offer a great variety of matchups for the PGA Tour. Don't offer 18-hole mathups like the other two, but offer new 72-hole matchups after the conclusion of the 2nd round, with the lines revised and offered again after the 3rd round. Do offer win and show odds for PGA Tour events which are an alternative to each-way betting. Great coverage of other sports, great reputation and use Neteller, though only free for deposits over $300

4/ DAS Offer a smaller number of matchups for the PGA Tour, but will also offer 18-hole matchups for each round and also does the same for the European and Australasian Tours at least. From your inquiry about Woods/Monty, I presume you have an interest in outs that cover other Tours. Again matchups are determined in-house, so are competitive and unique, plus they offer each-way betting with four places, though these bets have to be phoned in. Excellent reputation with no worries over security with the very tight Australian regulations. Decent coverage of both US and European sports, betting in 7 currencies available, including Canadian dollars and use Neteller but with $15 flat fee

5/ Surrey Looks like being the best of the Euro books for golf. Offer a decent number of 72-hole matchups for the widest number of Tours: PGA, European and Australasian Tours with at least outright and each-way betting available for the Senior PGA and shortly the LPGA Tours as well. 18-hole matchups are based on the playing groups - 3-balls before the cut and 2-balls (hopefully) at the weekend. Lines are produced in-house and very competitive - the golf line-maker definitely likes to take a view on a tournament! Very solid reputation, offer betting in 10 currencies, including Canadian dollars, but don't accept Neteller. Just traditional means of despoiting funds: credit card, bank wire, check, etc.

Hope this helps
