Scrappy!!! It's a goldmine for cans!!
pachicy LONG GONE SCARP PRICES BOTTOMED OUT CANS YEARS AGO WERE AT .70 A LB I CLEANED UP AFTER PHILLIES GAMES.

82 home games OMFG avaerged $140 i had a shovel large trash bags hung on back to load cans in with hole in bottom of bag to drain them

after bags were full i loaded them inside van then added more on back and sides if i could

then at end of nigh around 11 PM drove to araea where i waqs claer of any traffic light poles on islands high curb 6 " so cans didnt jump away when running over them with van took me 1.5 hours to get 200 lbs + done

Crushed 200 lbs fit inside 4 large 50 lb bags I added weight of water because yard always took off tare weight for bags way more than what was there.

Botteled beer aluminum i didnt crush left them alone each one weighed one full lb when filled with water LOL
Like tare weight was 5 lbs for moisture and bags OMFG the whole box of bags didnt weigh 5 lbs!

SO i had to add weight to cans they really stole from all of us $3.50 per load ..............grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

so i added 6 lbs water to make up for that loss and gain .70

price today is putrid .25 a lb aluminum steel .03 per lb cast iron 04 per lb Copper way down to $1.85 lb was up to $3.20 a lb 2 yaers ago

still tho today if you can get $50,000 to buy wire chopper strip machine that can do 300 lbs per hour baby your fugging rich..

Because you have low overahed say a small garge rent $350 a month utilites maybe just electricty $100 a month you can pay all scrappers .10 cents more per lb on all insulated clean wires with no plugs metal or plastic on them as in the appliance wires have.

That price with junk on it is 10 cents per lb I wouldnt even take it from them i say go cut off all plastic junk n metal then i pay you way more than others .35 a lb.

goona be tough for me to save up that much cash i'm at only $35,000 a yaer now total

hoping new ventures get me an extra $2000 a month then i can stash away the $50,000 to get the machine

ONLY other expense a large flat scale to weigh wires 4 X 5 foot

cost about $175

I have 2717 electrical contractors i can grab scrap wires from the old steel encased house or office wires can be bought for .15 a lb aluminum ones .18 a lb LOL

so i get the aluminum price and steel weight added ............ i have to get huge van truck also to pick up wires from demo job.

I dont think i can fit 200 to 300 lbs in back of Dodge caliber but i think using front with back setas folded down i can be tough driving cant see out back only have side mirrors.

ANyway this is prolly just after thought might not need to do it but dayum all TAX free money at least $2000 a week.

We keep all of our scrap mufflers, rotors, car parts, etc from our jobs and once a year we get a hauler delivered and it takes me about 3 days to get the thing filled because I have to hand load everything. We were just talking the other day about how scrap has gone down over the last few years. The first year we did it scrap was $15 a hundred. We heard right now its at $3 a hundred.

On the course!
I saw on the news tonight that Panama City was really cracking down this year, based on last year's fiasco there.

Showed an empty beach, and an 80% drop in Spring Breakers.

Way to go!
