Love the Spurs tonight, just don't see them falling down 0-2. I saw the line at + money earlier in the week. It's down to -103 now. I think I'm going to check throughout the day to see if I can get positive odds at some point, but at anything better than -110 I'm still all over the Spurs. :popcorn2

I'm seeing +105 right now so I'm jumping all over that. A little on the half too but I like the game much more.

Anyone have opinions on +100 for the series? What will the line be if they do win tonight?

just talking as you invited the board to do.the question I want to ask is do u think the spurs go all the way again this year? I don't myself. so the question is then, when are they gonna lose? this series seems like a likely place for them to go down and going up 2-0 at home is essential if the clippers want to do that.ive found that last years champions are usually bet against teams in the next year. the point where they "have to do it" they don't and they lose. it ll happen at some point this playoff season. be careful placing a lot of faith in them reverting to championship form. good luck.

I don't think the Spurs are going all the way this year as I see Golden State as a juggernaut that will take advantage of runs and the Spurs' age if they do match up. However, I do have a gut feeling that the Spurs get through this Clippers series, and I just really don't see them falling to 0-2. Of course I could be wrong, and it's definitely fairly evenly matched, especially with Griffin having such a good matchup with Splitter ailing. I just see the Spurs as having advantages in the coaching, experience, and desperation departments tonight and think they pull it off. Hope that helps a little, and thanks for the input.

GL Thad, but I'll probably be on the other side.

Do not like to hear that at all. Tailing you has been something of my saving grace this past week or so as my smaller plays aren't hitting. I'll look forward to your write up either way, and don't regret my play, but hearing that your on LA does make me think twice.

Line up to +2 and +110 now. Don't think I'm going to put any more on it but I do think there's good value at that price.

Other (smaller) plays tonight:

Atlanta -9.5

Leans (for now at least):

Portland +6.5
Port/Memph over 189.5
Portland over 91.5
Brook Lopez under 18.5 points

May update this more later.

No way I'm playing this at the current number. I had hoped after game 1 that public support would be enough to drive the line down so that we could get a home dog. If a plus number shows on the Clips in-game or at half, I will be on it. Otherwise, I have no interest playing at the current line.

Pretty lucky win in the end. Thought the Spurs were going to hold their 10 point lead in the 4th, but I'll take it any way I can get it. Will be back with a new thread next time I have a big play.

P.S. - Lost all of my leans. Evidently those aren't worth following.

Nice call. I didn't have the balls. That was a pure "coaches" win. They took Paul completely out of the game..

Great work bro ! Pop is so superior to Doc it's a joke. Doc was a fool for not sitting Barnes and letting Crawford play Barnes mins. Barnes may be the better defender but Crawford will give you instant offense...Clippers are done.

Seriously...Totally took them out of their rhythm. Spurs were all over their back court right as they crossed the line before they could even run a play. Also, when was the last time you saw a SA win like that when Manu wasn't even a factor? Just flat out outsmarted em...

Sorry fellas, gotta disagree here as well with regards to Barnes. Yes he had a terrible shooting night, but Crawford was in full chuck mode last night (4-13) and more importantly getting wasted on defense. Barnes played a decent defensive game, Crawford was atrocious. The Spurs won not because of popp's genius... One reason. The big fundamental. His will last night was ridiculous.

Thad, you're sitting pretty with the Spurs series bet. Seeing +425 on the Clips to win the series now. Are you pretty confident that the Spurs will close it out tomorrow? I think 5.5/6 might be a tad high, but I wouldn't touch this game (or a potential game 7 for that matter). Other than the first game, these all have looked like tossups to me. Very evenly matched teams. A shame that one has to go in the 1st round, IMO.

Agree pretty much all around Deezy. Too bad this was a first round matchup but then again we did need something in this semi uneventful round. I am pretty confident in the Spurs tonight, though I'm not sure I'm willing to lay 5.5-6 either as there is just too much potential for it to come down to the final minutes. Gun to my head I buy half a point and take Spurs -5, but I'll probably be content to hope to close out my series bet. If it does go to a game 7, I might lay a little more on the Spurs if they are getting decent positive odds, though I'm not sure they will be as I just don't think the public will bet the Spurs to lose the series, as is reflected by the current series price.

P.S. - Go Bucks tonight! Bring on game 7!
