I like the Bonnies today for a few reasons:
1) My personal belief is St. Bonnie may be the 2nd best team in the A-10, behind Xavier, so taking 8 points, on that principle, in conference, strikes me as a good idea.
2) Off of 3 ho-hum, at best, games, I think St. Bonnie is primed for a big game; the schedule here also suits them, as they have a had a week off to stew on their last loss (at home, vs UMass, as big faves) and prepare for this big game.
3) History: at this line (Dayton minus 8), Bonnies would have covered 7 of the last 8. At Dayton, Bonnies have won twice and lost by four in the last 4 years.
4) Bonnies have been a dog 3 times this year of 7 or more, and have covered all 3, losing tight ones at Oklahoma and St. Joe's, winning outright at UConn.
All signs I am looking at point to a tight one, I'll call it Dayton 70, Bonnies 69.
