Hudson Valley area.....NY
All med-plays today.In a rush.
St Joes -4.5 over RI
Not a strong game because Barron has done a super job with his team. They are actually playing defense and he has some offensive fire power.Hellenga is avg 16 pts a game and finally the NYC kid Woodward has come alive.A few yrs back when he went to RI I thought he was going to be an impact player in the A-10.I guess injuries and other things slowed him down.Adingono and Robinson can all score.
But Martelli has done wonders with a team that all graduated.Nelson is a stud. What a gd.But the guy who I love is Delonte West.I've seen them play 3 times and every time I love him more.A lefty pt gd who can pass, penetrate, and shoot. But his defense is what he is all about. What feet and lateral movement.Team defense and great gds are there strength. There front line is just avg and when they play a big team they could be in trouble.Rebounding is there achilles heel.Nelson who is 5'8 is there laeding rebounder. But Martelli has role players in Baily and Jones.Carrol can shoot the eyes out of the hoop. But what also makes them good is there shot selection.Nelson,West, and Carrol are shooting 45,47,and 50% FG.
They are ranked 8th in the nation in defense and only allow 19 FG per game.
Today at home Barron will be well prepared.Remember he was at St Bonnie and played St Joes many times. But I think the hawks defense can shut down hellenga and co.and win by 8-10 pts.

Rider-4.5 over Loy-Md
Rider is 1-4 away from home.Having big time trouble scoring pts.Johnson is a great pt gd trying to do everything. He is hoisting up 3's 30-109 for a 27% avg.Young is also doing the same.Taylor is pretty solid.Reed at 6'10 is doing a decent job.
Loy-md is bad. They did only lose to Marist by 5 the other nite at home. But I think Rider is talented enough to beat them. Not a big play because if Johnson gets frusrtated he will try to do everything alone.Loy-md has trouble scoring and again Hicks has won 14 games in 3 yrs there.

Like Wake Forest -9 over Ga tech
GT is 1-5 away from home.Wake is 9-0 at home.

Staying away from BC-WV
Who knows what BC team shows up.
Won with Fairfield last nite. That team is really on a roll.Timmy O'Toole has a losing record in 4 yrs.Rumors in Conn is he is out after this yr.Now he is 6-0 in the MAAC.Gotta love it.
Bear, that have to be dancing over by you.

Hey Box,

Life is Good !...........
And..... things are heating up in Ffld. The snow is melting here on North Benson Road... and I understand the school is getting pretty excited about the MAAC run by Ffld. Now, if the Stags can pull off 1 more road W at Siena, and get by Manhattan at home this week these Jesuits will be ready to canonize Saint Timothy.
A real big week for Ffld!!!!!!

I'm with ya on St Joes today and although I've been collecting more often than not on the Greyhounds since the Fairfield game (got +6) v Marist.........I do believe that its time to get off this one. Rider has lost 5 in a row ...but level of competition has been high. Good chance to cover small road spot here, especially after LM let the Marist game get away. hard to pick this one....Which team is least demoralized????

GL today
