Had my best or second best run ever after my slowest start ever . . . Then I missed a piece of low-hanging fruit with Jeff Klauk on Nationwide because I was too distracted with real-life stuff to even give the tournament a thought, just a week after he was my 3rd pick in over 2 full years on that Tour (you'll have to trust me that he would have gotten another play if it had simply crossed my mind) . . . followed that last week with a real reversal of fortune when I was 0-5 on picks just making the cut in Wales, a big precursor of which was my inattention to any of the telecasts and media coverage from the prior week . . . Almost as distracted this week, although this time I at least followed a good bit of the telecasts (but very little of the media wraps and analysis) from last weekend . . . At least I gave a quick glance to the U.S, Open qualifying results, and the weather forecasts, but less than a half-hearted effort, truly, otherwise . . . reap what you sow . . .
