I've had the chance to watch both these teams play. Seton Hall pressures all over the court trying to force turnovers and then gets easy buckets off of them. They are not great in their half court set. They have some big bodies that board, but they haven't really had other big bodies to go against. St. Mary's has some big guys that will bang with these guys. St. Mary's has a freshman guard, Mills, from Australia that is unreal. He killed Oregon dropped 37 on them and only had 1 turnover. This kid is getting no press and he runs the show and scores if you don't play him. He's small...but is a great player.
This kid will shred Seton Hall's pressure. He is lightning quick and makes every right decision. What's better is that St. Mary's wants to play fast so they won't pull it out or even think twice about taking the transition three.
St. Mary's is also one of the most difficult places in the country to play and it's sold out. The crowd is right on top of the court.
I obviously love this play.
Any thoughts out there?
