Since Tommy Maddox moved under center eight-and-a-half quarters ago, he?s made Plaxico Burress his No. 1 target.
With Kordell Stewart at quarterback the first 11-plus quarters of the season, Hines Ward led the team with 23 catches for 279 yards. With Maddox at quarterback, Ward has caught 10 passes for 76 yards.
Burress caught six passes for 62 yards from Stewart and a whopping 15 passes for 251 yards from Maddox. WR Plaxico Burress has come alive since Tommy Maddux took over at quarterback and had 8 catches against Cincinnati for 150 yards..
The line on Hines Ward at OLY is OVER 4.5 -185!
Indy will most likely matchup Plaxico with Walt Harris who is the most competent member of the Colts secondary, but it shouldnt matter. I do think that Pittsburgh will establish a strong running game but when Indy finally steps up with 7-8 in the box, Maddox will be looking for his favorite target. This line should be -200 or more IMHO. I love it when something sticks out and you get a value play for your buck. This is an example of that situation. Of course, Plax could break his leg on the first snap from center, but I see tremendous potential in having this bet covered early in the third quarter.

For your reasoning, I put a 1/2 unit on Ward Under 4.5 +155.
L2 weeks he's caught 5 and 4 so IMO there's some value there.

superbook be careful on that one simply because Macklin will be facing Ward in M2M situations.
After seeing him play week in and week out, this guy shouldn't be starting for this or ANY team at cornerback. He's undersized and has problems with awareness.
I'd lean on that under with the Steelers running first mentality, but Macklin alone makes that a no play for me.
