Outright plays (1.5 units):

Rosie Jones to win 20/1 e.w. @ SkyBet
This will be the first time that she has started an event since the death of her mother last month, but if she can regain any of her previous form then she will be a strong candidate for this title. She had finished in the top-10 in six of her last seven events, winning once, before her layoff. She is a former winner of this title (1987) and if she has the motivation, then she should go close again.

Lorena Ochoa to win 25/1 e.w. @ SkyBet and BetInternet
Still persevering with the Mexican rookie. She has no course form and has yet to win an event, but having finished in the top-5 in eight of her 24 primary Tour starts, she looks a far better shot to win this event than a standard 25/1 shot.

Lorie Kane to finish in the top-four 8.25/1 @ Centrebet
Kane has won on Tour, but the last time was 30 months ago so the place-only option is taken here. She has had four top-3 finishes already this year and with good finishes in her last three events, she could feature again this week. Her course form is decent enough as well. She was 5th in 2000 and lost in a playoff to Cindy Figg-Currier in 1997.

Got 3 that fits well within criteria. All to place.
Morgan 12/1 5dimes (top 5)
Matthew 10/1 5dimes (top 5)
Kane 8.25 Centrebet (top 4) about half that @ 5dimes
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
will add a 4th of a speculative nature
Klein 16.5/1 to place top 4 @ Centrebet

Had not given much thought to her as not remotely fitting normal requirements but after reading Clives thoughts and looking into further she does appear ready to pop as she has gained consistancy this year and has finished in top 4 here in her last 2 so evidently like course.--and while I didn't get there in time to catch the 25/1 will take what I got.

There's been something going on with Klein...I'm not sure what it is, but there were indications that there was some kind of issue in her personal life....but a look at her form suggests that it is now sorted. Her short game has always been good, but apparently she lost her iron game in the early part of the season.

She certainly likes this course, and I'm very pleased with the 100/1!

I wanted to back Lebouc who defends here..the 28/1 at Sky was huge imo, but she is now 3 months pregnant and withdrew from her last event, which tempers confidence.

So, i've added Kane, with some little bets on Ochoa, Davies and Grace.

2nd round update: 0-1-2; -4.64 units

Kane/Kung LOST by 5
Pak/Han TIED (Push)
Davies/Morgan TIED (Push)

Mid-point update:

Andrews/Park All Square
Park/Han Trails by 4
Jones/Ochoa WON by 8

Jones 4th
Ochoa mc
Kane 48th

Just one, but heavy loss on the day's plays, though at least the hedge play against Ochoa was worthwhile. Rosie Jones shot 65 in the 2nd round so it looks as though she has retained her form and she is only five shots behind Candie Kung.

3rd round plays (1.5 units unless stated):

Rosie Jones to beat Candie Kung -124 @ Five Dimes [3 units]
Se Ri Pak to beat Hee-Won Han -150 @ Five Dimes
Cristie Kerr to beat Emilee Klein -120 @ Five Dimes

3rd round update: 1-0-2; +1.50 units

Jones/Kung TIED (Push)
Pak/Han TIED (Push)
Kerr/Klein WON by 2

Final update:

Matchups: 1-1-1; -0.27 units

Andrews/Park TIED (Push)
Park/Han LOST by 3

18-holes: 1-1-2; -3.14 units

Outrights: 1-2; -3.38 units

Jones 5th
Kane 14th

Rained washed out the final round and reduced the event to 54 holes. It also washed out any hopes of a profit on this event. Jones' four-way tie for 5th place meant the return did not even cover the stake and Kane was left three shots out of a top-4 place after a great 3rd round got her back into contention. Disappointing.

LPGA Tour ytd
Matchups: 39-25; +29.08 units
18-holes: 37-32; +2.17 units
Outrights: 10-47; -24.60 units
