Statistics in ASCII files or XML

Hi, I'm currently programming a software to compile the statistics from every boxscore of football and basketball. From those stats, formulas will be made to project
scores.

To get the stats, it would be fun to have them compiled automatically. For that, I am searching for a site or service that as the stats in a format that I can get to with ease. Anyone, as any idea!!??
