When you have 2 teams that both do not have a passing game to speak of, 3rd downs are an afterthought. That means lots of punts after not really moving the ball a whole lot on 1st and second down.

If you take a look at most of the scoring drives, especially in Washington's case, they are very short drives where the other team doesnt have to go the length of the field to score. I mean, if you start on your own 20 most of the time, and are only getting about 10 first downs per game, you are giving the other team field position at about their own 40 or so. Not so hard to score....

Dallas, on the other hand, stops the run fairly well, as they have held Warrick Dunn and Wheatley in check in both of those games.

That is all you need to be effective against the Redskins, as they will force Tony Banks into 3rd down situations, and with his 40 or so passer rating, I dont like his chances. Washington WILL try to force Stephen Davis down Dallas's throats. I believe he will be mildly effective, but I predict lots of field goal attempts for the Skins.

Dallas, is much more effective with Anthony Wright at the helm. That possess a big play "potential" with both receivers I believe playing in this one. Emmitt, should get loose for 100 yards against a lush Washington run D. That I think will be the key for Dallas. Emmitt picking up 4-5 yards on first down, so that Wright doesnt have to force balls down the field against Champ Bailey and the like.

I like Dallas, in a very quick game featuring both running backs. Lots of field goal attempts, and Dallas coming out ahead 19-13. I will take Dallas and the under tonight.

Good luck!
