I am curious as to how many HOME TEAMS have been swept (at home) in a series this year (of 3 gms or more)???

How or where could I find that. As well, I would like to know which teams they were.

Thanks a lot!!

McVegas -

Thanks a lot man. Do you have all those stats because you keep them or do you use a site online or something. I would love to know, as I am going to start betting trends like this...
Thanks a lot

I keep them. Just so you know, almost every team gets swept at home at least once during the season. I'd say 3 or 4 teams manage to avoid getting swept at home and maybe 1 or 2 avoid getting swept on the road, gotta run, I'll give you last years stats when I get a chance, just so you can see them. Good luck.

Last year, ARZ, COL, and BOS were not swept at home. PHL was not swept on the road. 2006, TOR, TB, MIN, NYM were not swept at home, NYY was not swept on road. Please note that these stats are for 3 or 4 game series and they do not include a series in which game one was rained out and not made up. However, they do include series in which game 2 or 3 was rained out (my thinking is that there was no way of knowing that the series would be shortened to less than 3 games and if you are going to chase the bets, then you would have already started the chase). 2007 NL home teams got swept a total of 36 times (355 series without a sweep), AL home teams got swept 28 times (300 series without a sweep)....hope this helps. Good luck.
