tmwarning wrote this use it for what it is worth with other capping factors:

how well do the teams that earn a first round bye do with the extra time to prepare (albeit for multiple opponents since their foe will not be determined until the outcome of the Wild Card round are known)?

Well, overall the home sides playing off an extra week?s rest are 25-17 (60%) over the past decade of playoff action in the second round of the post-season. So, a case can be made that the extra time is a benefit. Then again, the teams with a bye are presumably among the best the NFL has to offer!

Another area of interest is teams that pull off an upset in the Wild Card round. How do sides that win outright as underdogs fare in the next game? It?s not pretty, as the upstart dogs have gone 4-10 (29%) in the second round. Most likely that first triumph feels like enough to make the season a success, and then the team lying in wait off the bye will be unlikely to overlook a squad that just knocked a favorite out in the prior week!

What about the team off a big win (10+ point margin) in the wild card round? Again, it?s a tough team to back from a historical perspective, as these ?runaway winners? have usually got their comeuppance the next week from the teams on the next rung up the ladder! Against the line the teams off double-digit wild card victories are just 7-15 (32%).

and also here is last couple of years breakdowns of 2nd rd games:
