How long has America wanted confederate statues down? How long have we been waiting!?!?!

So glad they are finally coming down. What a struggle we have all faced having to look at horses and generals frozen in time.

Just seeing a statue of a confederate soldier causes rage inside me that is difficult to deal with. I am confused, bewildered and offended.

Those statues are offensive.


Thank goodness we don't have to be oppressed anymore.

No real accurate photographs of Civil War Generals exist. Mostly just paintings. Why not just change the name plates or maybe add some facial hair. PROBLEM SOLVED :0008

It has nothing to do with anyone being "offended".

JFK and MLK said some words that others disliked. That's called freedom of speech., a Constitutionally protected right of all Americans.

What Confederate Generals did was treasonous revolt against the United States of America, and it included making war against fellow Americans and killing hundreds of thousands of fellow Americans.

If you can't understand that simple truth, then you are ignorant beyond third grade History.

Stick your head in the nearest toilet and push the flush handle.

What statues does Finland have to commemorate the life of those that committed treason against Finland in the name of enslaving a race of people? If too many to name, just throw out a couple of examples.

I'm not a fan of taking the statues down, but I understand how some people might not care for what they represent. If I was Jewish, I probably wouldn't be a fan of a Hitler statue.....then again, only a slice of Trump supporters would.
