this book seems to be having trouble lately. I was warned several times about them, and now I regret staying with them for so long.
-----------My last payout took 2 weeks to arrive (after they promised 2-3 days).
----------changed to a low-budget internet site recenty
----------closes early all the time
----------They cheated me out of $11,000 last year on a golf bet I won. They took my parlay bet on Thursday and they called me on Sunday night after the tournament was over (and I had hit a 3-teamer) to tell me that they made a mistake and that they don't accept parlays in golf!
--------Well, I was stupid and stuck with them. Until I woke up this morning and saw my balance!
Get this....I played the Colorado Avalanche in Game 1 at the opening fave price as soon as the lines went up. Then, just before game-time, when it was clear that Forsberg would be on the ice for Colorado, the line shot up. And public money (faves) also drove Colorado up to a price so high, that I made another play on its opponent, the Los Angeles Kings. I "scalped" the game...meaning no matter which team won, I was assured a profit.
So as soon as I put the Kings play in, I called the manager to tell them what I did (because I just KNEW I would get screwed by them.......... And Tom, one of the supervisors there, says "No problem. That's being a smart, sharp gambler Your bets are in the system and good."
So this morning I log-in to check out the lines, and I see that my balance is only $1634 when it should be $2910!
This guy in customer service named Mike tells me that my initial Colorado play (which happened t be the WINNING play) was voided after the game was OVER. They said that I have NO RIGHT to bet BOTH sides of a moneyline!
So, not only did they screw me, but they didn't even tell me about it!! Mike said this other supervisor named Nick overruled Tom after the games were over.
So, needless to say, I got angry on the phone and withdrew that $1634 today.
If they read this, Horizon will probably cancel my check and try to screw me again. BUT.....I don't want the same thing happening to other guys from this site.
From now on, I only play with legitimate books that MadJack promotes!
