Beautiful day yesterday steel… I gotta ask you did you think Houston was going to knock around Ohanti?? Or was that a line play? After digging I saw Houston at home had smashed him around last 2 starts for 8 earned runs. Same thing on the Twinkies… They haven't won 3 games in a row this season, you were on them… A winner! Lets get this 3-piece in slum……..

shamrock….answer your question……All my plays r based on. Math…law of avereages…..probability….momentum….and always….playing on winning teams……I don’t look at pitching at all…..I’ve found it to be a waste of time….I focus all my energy on the other 8-guys….and find spots that they either should or should not hit…..so there is 3-bad things that can happen when you focus your play on a pitcher…….1-he pitches well but loses game 2-1……2-he pitches well but bullpen blows game..3-he underachieves and gets lit up…..so ther is a 25% chance in your favor.that he pitches up to his potential, and his team hits the ball……so I don’t expect or factor pitching into my equations……that’s just how I do things….I’m sure there is cappers out there win playing pitching…..but I know that I can’t…….

Thanks for the time on the response Steel, appreciate it brother. I see your point, it makes sense… Even more so current day baseball, starters only go 5 or 6 innings. Plenty of room for the BP to give away the game. Back in the day of Randy Johnson, Clemens, Maddix they go 8 and turn it over to the closer. Agree strongly with not asking a bad team to win as well, not like football when a bad team is getting 2 touchdowns with plenty of room for backdoors. Anyway, thanks for the thoughtful response, good luck the rest of the way.

I thought you were nuts when you took the Heat on the ml. But I kept it in mind and in the 4th Quarter I bet into the Heat live when they were a huge dog but within a couple of points.
