anyway....
with s.a./mem.
s.a. held mem. to 39% shooting in 1st game.
so s.a. has overachieved defensively
their season avg. was 44%.....so they held them 5% better than season avg.
they show that they let down somewhat in next game after a sub 40% def. effort.
season avg. points against is 98
after a sub 40% def. which they accomplished 15 times in reg. season.
their points against goes up to 101 an increase of 3 pt. more.
their offensive output remains the same at 105
with memphis. they had a poor def. effort. gave up 52% fg. %
mem. had 18 times during reg. season in which their def. fg% was over 50%
they show that react with poor def. in next game.
their season avg. points. against is 100....in next game after 50% their points. against is 104.
a 4 pt. increase.
and on offense. memphis also shows an increase.
season avg. on offense is 100
in next game after 50% def. fg% their offensive avg point. is 103
a 3 pt . increase.
so overall both teams combined in this situation show a 10 pt. increase in points.
im gonna take a shot with the OVER in this game.
