Kerr, Who is a former champion with spurs, just shared his perspective

He Just admitted on cbs radio, that although he is supposed to be impartial as a commentator/analyst, he is absolutley rooting for his old teammates and coaches. Biased all the way.

He said "I didn't sleep at all last night thinking about what happened and how sick I was".

I can only imagine what the current players are feeling.

Not sure if anyone else will agree, but I think emotions are the hardest thing to figure when capping a game, but if kerrs feelings are a fair representation of the current players feelings, man it makes me wonder how in the hell they recover from this.

Manu's exact words: "I am absolutley devestated"

As much as we are conditioned to think these guys are pros and bigger then life sport figures, they are all human.

They all bleed red, shit brown, and put their pants on one leg at a time.

Play as you like, just want to share what these guys are feeling at the moment. Hard to prepare when you can't sleep or focus.

I already favored the heat slightly being at home and because they have the best player on the planet.

thanks for that...

I felt the same way when I saw them lose. How could they recover you know??? these guys are professionals though and they can do it again.

I've hit each game so far but this one has me. Should have lost last game but didn't because i stayed with the trend of one game on one game off.

trend says Spurs but I think they missed their win the other night.

Still want Spurs but road team hasn't won a G7 since 1978

Spurs will put their 'big boy' pants on and grit it out!! It's not so much focus, because both teams will be, this will be an all out physical matchup, team that executes their shots, less turnovers, wins this one!!

Manu looked like Lebron did passing the ball in the middle of the lane last game, Lebron did it vs Pacers at home - this time, Parker leaves it all on the floor, it's doubtful Parker & Green have worse games than they did in game 6.

This will be a 12 pack of Coors light night, some Habenero Salsa and thin Tostito's chips night!!

GL!

Another thing I am thinking about

Green has shot better then ever before in his career, more so in the games spurs won. Can he really continue shooting like he has? Will the heat let em?

So many different things that make this game impossible.

Flip a coin and root like hell.

Flip a coin and root like hell.

that's exactly it... :0008 and :toast: I just started.

like I said eariler, I have had a pretty good beat after G1 win SA. went back and forth and now here we are.

hit 1H Over of a few of these since G2. could this game sink like the titanic? no! but we could see some D with awesome shooting. Lebron has to figure a way in the paint too because his shot, well, come to think of it he hasn't shot that much outside lately. please correct me if I'm wrong.

just droppin thoughts and trying to decide to spend more money:142smilie

i'm not a stats guy at all, nor do i enjoy the game or watch it. but i do well wagering on it.

and i do most of my capping leaning toward emotional angles in this and other sports.

to me this game is eerily similar to the cards/rangers game 7 a few years back. different sports but same types of emotions. that game 6 that the rangers should have won about 5 different times in the game was sickening and just like the spurs game 6. texas came out in game 7 and got beat and just looked deflated.

i have a future wager to protect pre-playoffs and will be playing the heat. even if i didn't i'd be really surprised if the spurs won. like beyond shocked.

and the line might be a little low. i remember spurs pistons game 7 about a decade ago and the spurs were solid 7.5 point favorites and covered.

heat will probably cover........

but i like talking emotional impact.
