Yeah, this is what happens when you let the inmates run the program.

Okay , Roy Williams, good stats.... How on earth does this guy start doing Mr. Bojangles after his touchdown, still down 20 points. The radio announcer was astounded. He says "are you kidding me?" " down all these points and he's dancing "

THIS IS WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE NFL You got guys making huge money and don't care if the team wins as long as they gots theirs

Pro Football is great, but it is ever so slowly turning into a zoo
:flush: :nooo:

it's getting bad.

imo, he definitely is one of the problems....it shows a lack of discipline when a teamm commits alot of penalties....that is the coaching....

detroit needs a disciplinarian as a coach...

Sexlexia...
I'm far from a Joey Harrington fan, but can anyone tell me why he was dragged today?!

I thought he started ok...Couple of nice throws.
1/2 were dropped...the INT (although not the best option) wasn't his fault....The fumble certainly wasn't his fault.
The first sack was bad protection from a reshuffled line....the second sack he was swamped!...then gets booed for throwing an under route on a 3rd and 26!!!

I have to say that as annoying as it was to listen to Aikman defend/praise every little thing Harrington has done lately, he was absolutely correct in saying that Harrington was the last guy on the field to blame when they were 0-17 down.

Fine, if they want to play Orlovsky and see how he goes then I don't really see a problem at this stage...but it was just embarrassing seeing Garcia struggle even worse than Harrington.

Anyway, the point is that it was clearly a coaches decision and it was just plain poor!
He's done nothing with some above average (imho) talent, and certainly deserves to be shown the door...and he can take Garcia with him!

mariucci isnt the problem

I might have agreed with you until watching the game yesterday...in my post I stated that I was leaning toward the UNDER 42.5 because I felt both teams would be able to run the heck out of the football which would move the clock...well the UNDER hit anyway...but...I don't understand why the Lions didn't attempt to run the ball down the Falcons throat much like the Packers and Bucs did the previous 2 weeks...the Falcons defense made Sam Gado look like the second coming of Christian Okoye and then they let Caddy Williams reak out of his 7 week slump...it was common knowledge coming into the game that the Falcons defense has been horrible against the run and if I were Coach Mariucci my gameplan would have been 2/3 run and 1/3 pass...not the other way around...I thought Mariucci's gameplan was horrible yesterday.

Just my 2 Cents! :)

the ball harrington threw would still have been intercepted even if thug didnt fall down. Harrington is a huge problem for this team

Agree on harrington. This guy is ordinary at best and a past-his-prime Garcia is not much better (if at all). Big changes need to be made in Detroit before things are turned around there. Agree AR, discipline throughout the coaching staff and into the players would be a big start.
