Skins one of worst prepared team in FB

Skins one of worst prepared team in FB

Got to hold Spurrier accountable for not preparing his team week in and week out. They are extremely undisciplined leading the leagure in penalties. Today was a total coaching mismatch. Spurrier doesn't pay any attention to details...never has, probably never will. The Skins never do any of the little things that win ballgames and part of it is no game plan. Today was pretty comical, on an obvious reversal call, they couldn't even locate the red ball you throw in for a challenge....they can't even do that right....rumor had it that Bruce Smith was on his cell phone during the game last week...do you think Parcells would allow for that...evidently the shot of Bruce was right behind Spurrier...what a joke...he's got to go....I'd love to get the Md. coach Fridgen as the next head coach....but he's too smart to take the job.

Now from watch the Hogs this entire year it hads been comical but Spurrier will not go this year. At least not be fired. The main problem that the Ball Coach has is his staff. Though I agree that he does not pay attention to detail he still is a good coach. The problem is with his Owner/GM. Steve gets playes not drafted him and tries to place them into his system. Difficult to do this but Synder needs to begin to allow someone other than himself to be the GM and make the decisions. If he is given opportunity to coach a decent quarterback (not Danny Wuerfel or any Florida reject then possibly) However be nice to hassleback... he is learning a system that Spurrier touts takes at least a yr and a half to learn in 7 weeks. Mucho crazy plus they are missing Betts at RB and the proper Off Linemen. I agree they suck but for other reasons than the coach!

Come on now...do you really think the guy can coach at one level and not another? Or are you saying he couldn't coach at Florida either? Can you really say after watching his juggernaut at Florida for so many years that his play calling sucks? A leopard duzn't change his spots, and. imo, a "coach" can coach at any level...

You think Hasselbeck sucks? Watch a former Spurrier pupil, Jesse Palmer tonight!

I could be wrong but with all the great step up performances by backups this year(Ferotte, Wright, Rattay, Grossamn).....This should definately be the most forgettable!

I agree Spurrier should have stayed in College, million dollar ego's tend to clash in the NFL.

His offensive system isn't one that will be nearly as effective in the NFL as it was in college (and that's obviously been the case). No protection for the QB...Ramsey got killed in the pocket and couldn't last the season, and that will go for any QB in his system. You need a consistent running game and must be able to protect the quarterback to be successful in the long term.
