USC is not sinking

USC is not sinking

Why don't we wait until all the facts are out before passing guilt on the program or the Bushes. If they are guilty then they will reap what they deserve.

If you have read more than the "Super reliable Yahoo" column you will see that the lease was up and they had been shopping for a new home.

Regardless of what are opinions are, we are better off waiting for the Pac 10/NCAA investigation to bare fruits of inocence or wrongdoing.

The reason the lease ended is because the Bushes figured they would be getting into a much nicer home around this time with Reggie's signing bonus.

Face facts: The Bushes are GUILTY. How much USC knew will never really be known. This crap goes on all the time and only the stupid one get caught.

USC will get a slap on the wrist as long as no trail leads to them.
NCAA will never make Reggie give back the Heisman.

A buddy of mine works for ESPN. Tells me there is much more to the story. ESPN has know for some time - not sure why they have sat on it. Winston Justice is next in the hot seat.

NCAA has no say on the Heisman either way. That is all DAC. Rules say he has to have been eligible. USC may get a "slap on the wrist" but I have to think at a minimum they will forfeit games which means it is because Bush was ineligible. He may well lose his Heisman.

If and that is a big if they do strip Bush of the Heisman then what happens???

Does it go the runner up Vince Young or does it just get abandoned?

I would assume that since this is not a Miss USA contest that it is just disreguarded for the season. It would be interesting to see.

Well it's getting worse

Well it's getting worse

Now the Sanchez allegations have the program in a tailspin. Even the staunchest supporters, myself included, are having to face some realities.

The unfortunate thing about eh Bush incident if is true, is that he is long gone, the university gained no extra benefits from the arrangement, and the university is going to suffer.

I am a huge Reggie Bush fan, but if he guilty then he doesn't deserve the Heisman.,

Also to stone one other myth, he just got the Mercedes in the last month.

Well I hope your not a Reggie bush fan now. I am estatic that USC is going down in flames. You can bet your bottom dollar that ole Petey has something to do with all this as well. Can you say OJ/GRETSKY?

Norm Chow knew when to fly the coup. Smart guy unlike the rest. Heisman goes to my man V Young who deserves it.

Its just sad cause USC is getting the spotlight when crap like this happens everywhere. Its not like every place else is perfect and USC is the only black sheep.

It is one thing to hate but your statement are >>>

It is one thing to hate but your statement are >>>

flat out ridiculous. From the mid point of the investigation it looks like Bush's family took monies post the 2005 Orange Bowl, which would keep the title intact for USC. But hypothetically, lets say that The Bush family had received benefits prior ot the NC game, then the title will most likely be abdicated.

I don't think there is one Oklahoma or Texas fan that would sit back and say that Oklahoma should now get the trophy for the 2004 season. If anyone could lay claim it would be Auburn. As for the Heisman assertion, most Texas supporters would say that VY won his Heisman at the Rose Bowl.

Lastly, though a head coach is responsible for his program much like a CEO, I think it is quite uncomprehendable for Pete Carroll to know what the dealings if a players' parents are doing no matter what the NCAA says.

I think this whole matter can be quite sad, but at this point it is still the word of a convicted felon against the Bush family. The felon may be right and it seems that at least there is partial truth, but we still are not privy to all the facts.

The only thing that gets me sick is this is happening all the time. IT'S ABOUT THE MONEY. they get catered to in every aspect of their lives. These Universitys feel they are in the positions to do anything to make these superstars happy but they turn the cold shoulder as if they did nothing wrong when they get caught. Its so hard to prove that any money or housing came fom the team because they have this shit planned out. They get caught just like chris webber for throwing games but in the end there hands are tied and nothing happens. Its bullshit but it's also life and the if you believe sports isnt fixed then your more gullible then i thought.

I saw Dwane Jared on sportcenter earlier, does anybody have any info about this?

I figure he must be guilty as well, Lendale is on drugs and a fatass, reggie was ineligible his senior season, Lienhart is too busy boning paris hilton, Sancez "the savior" is in jail for sexual abuse, their other QB is recouping from BACK SURGERY, Winston Justice lost alot of money draft day for being a punk and I wouldnt be surprised if he will be in trouble.

So since USC is a university of illegals and crimnals and drug addicts and party boys and gimps, I would like someone to dig up Scotts posts about how they are such a great university and how other universitys dont hold a candle to them acedemically or class wise LOLLOLOLOLOL

Anyway USC sucks and wont be in a bowl next year and the media will forget they ever happened.

I think it's very unfortunate. I guess I'm gullible because I believe Pete Carroll is on the up and up. But he may be paid to look the other way also.

Why can't people just wait their turn? Reggie Bush was basically guaranteed to be a multi-millionaire and his greedy ass family couldn't wait one or two years to live that life. That is freaking pathetic and it shows where our society places its values.

Are there any legitimate ideas to curb the activiy between agents and players?

It's unbelievable how evil money can make some people (and yes I include the likes of Enron CEOs, politicians, etc. in this statement)!
