i`m trying to be fair here....but,this bull market started from the depths of hell....

not trying to be unfair here....but,you usually get a bounce when you hit bottom.....

that said,i`m glad things are looking better.....:yup

lets wait another couple months before we declare this a socialist paradise...the swine flu alert just hit level 5,one level below a pandemic....

that may put the kibosh on bock`s miracle...

Time to load the wagon ya think? ;)

Don't get wrong Smurph I'm glad to it--but can't see fundamentals to dictate it--GDP declined greater than expected this quarter (released today) unemployment exceeded projections in latest release--however earnings have been good considering above--

I do have tough time understanding public's reasonings at times--example

Here is news headline from July 07
when market hit all time--unemployment was 4.6--GDP grew 3.4% for quarter and this was news then--

"Eight separate surveys conducted through June and early July show the number of Americans who believe the country is headed in the right direction dropping to just 24 percent, with 70 percent now convinced that the country is off on the wrong track.? The latest CBS News poll shows a majority of Republicans (52 percent) now joining 86 percent of Democrats and 80 percent of Independents in rejecting the country?s current direction.?

fast foreward to today--with unemployment above 8% and rising--GDP declined more than expect for quarter -6.1% market down more than 6,000 points from July of 07 and this is news today on O's completion of 1st 100 days--

In a sign that Barack Obama has inspired hopes for a brighter future in the first 100 days of his presidency, an Associated Press-GfK poll shows that 48 percent of Americans believe the United States is headed in the right direction ? compared with 44 percent who disagree.

Would you ponder this just a minute and and explain the logic in these polls.

IMO
A: who are these people polling?
or
B: I was correct on my Tony Robbins theory

It does look like your statement is right. Best One Month. Not 6 weeks not 100 days not 6 months. A month. No Spin Here. I,m hoping he has a normal DEM 4 year run. Now that wil bring spin.

Wouldn't say 48% is majority but about indenticle % that pay no taxes--can you figure it out from there :)

I believe you were one of the 24% that thought Bush was on the right track. Clearly the minority among those who pay taxes and those who don't.

Well, we all know how math-challenged DTB is.

He still thinks only $400 Billion was added to the National Debt from '01-'08 under Dubya. :142smilie

He is linguistically challenged too.

But ultimately, a good guy. I have no doubt.
