Hi Everyone

would like to say what a great community this is. Keep up the good work everyone and thanx to jack and others for the site.

Would like to get input from people as to their thoughts on dollar cost averaging every month or biweekly into the market using index funds.

Have been using this for the past 8 months along with a few actively managed funds for small cap companies (US and Canadian) along with dividend fund and portfolio is down 1% YTD which is negligible.

Would appreciate views/comments on investing in current scenario.

Cheers !!!
Spock

good luck with investing Spock, index funds are a good way to invest just make sure your MER is low, on the managed funds just make sure the funds are/have been good performers.
the market is doing well, lots of money on the sidelines, of coarse some expensive stocks going up also on air. bullish for the most part.

by the way spock there is a stock forum, sometimes a post can get lost in the General discussion forum. good luck with your investments.

thanks

Before I read the reply, I was going to suggest going to the Movers and Shakers forum and asking selkirk. But, I guess he came before I did.

Good luck in the future. I look forward to your insight.
