I have never really been impressed with Melendez, taking Damm at big odds seems like a logical play here. Damm ain't no GSP, but the dude can most certainly pull off a win here

i don`t think this is a slam dunk for an old,inactive shamrock coming back off an injury...

I agree, too many factors we don't know with Frank. I think Diaz has a legit shot at this one. Frank will have to win by decision because he's not sub'ing Nick and Nick has shown he has a hell of a chin.

he's had back problems? :shrug:

i thought he had to wait for the arm to heal (after Cung Le broke it) and then wait for EliteXC to officially dry up....

i don't think Shamrock will struggle with Diaz, unless Nick's length becomes a problem. Frank by UD, although i think i'm playing Radach.

So far I am betting Diaz to beat Shamrock at +160.

Frank is getting older and is becoming injury prone.
I hate the size difference but Diaz was probably killing himself to make weight at 155.

If this fight go's to the ground, I believe Diaz has the edge. I don't think Franks ground game has evolved as the years have past and Diaz might own him there.

Renzo has some of the shittiest takedowns in the business and he seemed to take Frank down at will.

I just don't think Nick will go for takedowns that much as he will be willing to throw with Frank.
I think this will be an all out war as both don't mind it if it comes to that.
One thing is for sure, there will be a TON of taunting in this one(maybe so much that they don't have time to fight).
