Stuffed Pork Chops (bonus recipe inside!)

6 bone in pork chops (double thick), ask your butcher, and get them when the chops are on sale.

1 bag stuffing mix. Nothing fancy, basic pepperidge farm or similar will do.

Add water, or chicken broth to the stuffing. do not oversaturate, but make sure mixture is moist

butterfly chops, stuff with stuffing mixture, hold together with toothpicks.

bake at 350 for 20-30 mins (if the chops are a little overcooked its okay b/c the stuffing will balance it a bit, beats food poisoning...)



Serve with homemade applesauce

3lbs empire apples
1/2 stick butter
2 tbs vanilla (this is the trick)

cut apples into small pieces, smaller the better, as it will take less time for them to reduce to mush.

add all ingredients to saucepan, and cook until you reach desired consistency. some prefer a "chunkier" sauce, i like the baby food style.
