Maybe this is a good place for me to ask a stupid question or two . . .
Has the forum been having some issues with access over the past couple of weeks, and if there have been issues, was there a thread on the topic? Or is the problem at my end, because I've had a few instances recently of being told the site was not available. Thanks.

Yes, we have had problems. Driving me nuts. Had hardware problems with my server and they had to move me to a new server. Nothing but a huge headache and it's been a nagging problem on and off for about 2 weeks. Everything is fine on your end.

every now and then i can't access and www.isitup.org says site is down.
I guess blocking seats isn't your biggest problem if you go to drugstore with shopping cart :shrug:

I noticed that too. All she had in there was her purse and a small prescription bag. I guess she was going to load up on candy on her way out. :shrug:

I don't want to get too basic here, but are you really sure that is even a female?
Jack. obviously you saw the face and everything, but from the photo you posted, frankly it's inconclusive.
Several US sites have had similar problems lately, they are down like 5 to 15 mins and then back up and running smoothly.
:shrug:
The hardware problems caused short down times with the site until they realized the best solution was to move me to new machines. Moving servers takes longer because the name servers had to be changed. Some people were able to see the site way before other people. Youtube was even down for over an hour last night. Imagine the people involved trying to get them back up and running.
