13 dimes up for grabs!!! Denver almost gave me a stroke this week. The Following are the teams i have left.
Jets
Cowboys
Giants
Dolphins
Bears
Redskins
Bengals
Lions
Jags
Texans
Chargers
49ers
Cards
Pack
Raiders

Out of the 5 of us moone has used the Cowboys, and I feel that they will be picked by the Majority.
Im torn between between The boys, the Bears, and the dolphins.
Im going to look at next weeks matchups to see who I would have there. Any help appreciated.:D

Certainly Giants are banged up and if you are going to take them this week might be the week.

However, what if G-men get up for this big rivalry game which I think they will? Even then though you know Parcells will have Cowboys prepared for this game as well. What if everyone else takes the Cowboys and you don't though and by some miracle NG wins? That would be game over. Not likely though.

Dallas goes to Saints next week...who knows there?

I like Oakland and Jets as home dogs but hard not to go with Dallas. Of the others I would only consider the Bears.

Good luck. We await eagerly your decision.

Correction:

My previous post in 1st sentence I meant "if you were going to take the Cowboys at all then this week was probably the week to do it vs injured Giants."

And now...Fassel gone...how will NY respond?

Fassel promised management his team wouldn't quit the last 2 games. I think Giants will be compelled to play hard but still are overmatched straight-up. ATS is a different story.

Ocelot, I appreciate yours and others interest in my quest. I'm still up in the air and need more help. I have visions of the Giants pulling the upset.. Still working

Think Buffalo may win this game.

Just beat the Gmen and Gang Green, and nearly pulled off the upset in Tennessee...classic situation of "teams going in opposite directions."

After Miami's blowout of Dallas on Thanksgiving, they lose to New England, and then to Philly on MNF. Short week, gotta go up to Buffalo...Forecast 26-32 for Sunday's game...The bills also look to avenge the 17-7 loss to the 'phins earlier this year....I know Miami looks like a lock, but I'd tread lightly.

Jags over saints?! :tongue

Dallas

Dallas

Your only asking them to win the game. This late in the season don't take any road team. Fassel said they won't quit but they have a lack of talent right now. With their offensive line they will not be able to score. Besides the Cowboys the only team I would look at is the Bears but I wouldn't trust a rookie quarterback who couldn't complete 50 % of his passes against Minnesota. Dallas the way to go Good luck to you this weekend on whoever you take.

To me I think the best play is the Bears. Washington's offense is in shambles, and the Bears are starting to play decent (especially at home). When I look at Hasselback I see the guy that was on the Philly practice squad at the begining of the year, not a serviceable NFL QB. Dallas looks tempting, but anything can happen in the NFC East (historically they all play each other tight). Did you look into Green Bay at all? I know a road team on MNF is a tough sell, but since they are in the playoff hunt still they should come out firing in Oakland. Good luck on your decision, I see how it can be a tough one at this point.

Yeah, I would really like the Bears in this spot if Dallas had an easy matchup next week...then you could let the other contestants hopefully use their Dallas bullet here and force them into a tough pick next week. But since Dallas doesn't have a sure thing next week but should this week its hard not to fire that Cowboys bullet.

By the way, is there some kind of tiebreaker in this (or any) suicide pool if more than 1 survive. Maybe like add up the combined W-L record of each contestant's unused teams with the best record winning the tiebreak? Or is prize just split equally? Or you could pay out to survivors prorated by the records of their unused teams (which I like best).

Does anyone know of where to get a scoring card for suicide pools? They sound like fun and I would like to get one up with my guys.

Heaven, oh!!, this isn't it?!
Per what Greed said..............I assume this is not ATS.
Then take the Cowgirls and come back next week with the Packers at home vs Denver at Lambeau Field with the Division crown on the line. Nobody likes to play at Lambeau in this weather;)

Well Here is the Picks..
Two Guys Took the Cowboys. Not Me
One Guy took the Bucs. Not me
One Guy took the Panthers. Not me
One Guy took the Bears.. Me:D

I'm banking on alot of statementts made by Spurrier and team that lead me to believe the Skins have packed it in. I like the Cowboy pick but I did not want to be on the same side as anyone else here. Plus after the Fassel thing I think some of the veterans will step up. Not to mention I have gone against the boys succesfully 3 times and I feel bad now trying to counto on them.. My other choice was the Pack, and going against the Raiders on Monday is scary, as well as they are my best friends team and I will never hear the end of it if the Raiders beat me.

DA Bears it is!!! Thanks for the feedback guys

How the F*ck do you not take the Cowboys ??

I don't care if all 4 took the Cowboys....20% of 13 dimes is better than no share !!! You realize that you're risking all that $$$ on the Bears, a 6-8 team with Rex Grossman at QB against a good Redskins Defense with Revenge after getting ShutOut. This was a no-brainer to get to Week 17 and you blew that (in my opinion) and now you have to actually watch the games on Sunday.

Thanks for sharing Bif!!!
Like I said it comes down to the gut.. The cowboys when i went against them 3 times laid down hard.
Against Tampa? Not so good.
Against the Eagles? not so good
Against the Pats? Not so good

The Cowboys Were due to burn me.
The redskins quit. i'm not that worried. What revenge are the Skins playing for?
