Went 1-1 winning Tex St and losing Texas Tech In the Texas Tech game I lost the play but it sure was a hostile crowd. They threw bottles at the Texas players and the crowd was out of control Grant the TT coach had to make a public address message announcement for the fans to stop. I didn't see any of it because I was at the Texas St game but heard on the radio today it was crazy in Lubbock. Anyway enjoyed the Tex St game UL Monroe has more talent but everyone was playing one on one and Texas St Sykes had 10 pts and 10 rebounds. He is a little out of control but he brings a lot of energy to the Bobcats . Every time he gets the ball he will drive to the basket. Think he has now started the last 4 games. On a fast break he was 1vs 5 and still put his head down and drove to the basket. He was taken out after that one and I'm sure the coach said to him 1 vs 5 maybe pull the ball out and wait for your teammates The UL coach Keith Richards who played for the Rolling Stones teaches absolutely no defense. Lay up and back doors Bobcats took advantage to it. But Locures is an amazing pt gd. But has no basketball IQ He has a handle jump shot drives to the basket and tries to beat the defesne by himself. Tex Bobcat Benson who hit 6 3 pt's the 1st time they played was kept in check until 4 seconds left in the half, He took a 45 ft shot was fouled . It went in and he hit the FT. Don't know why you would foul a desperation 45 ft shot with no time on the clock but they did .. Texas dominated from the start and won and covered..
