UL Monroe +3 over Ark LR ***
UL avgs 62 pts a game, shoots 28%.. In last 6 or 7 games have scored 78,72,72,52,56,49 and 62.. only 2 players avg in double digits. there defense is bad but better then their anemic offense they are 6-16 for reason. Arl LR offense is a little better but since they threw off Nowell their pt gd who was their leading scorer, assists man ,pt gd and best player by far are now 0-4. They lost to Texas St the game the game where Nowell was suspended and didn't play 2nd half.. The next game to Tx St since Nowell took a bus back to Little Rock.. got swept by Appa St 2 games and yesterday lost to lowly UL Monroe by 12.. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure without Nowell a pre-season POY Little Rock is struggling. The game I saw w/o Nowell you can see they had no true pt gd. Maric in the post is tough and moneyyong is 6'11 and avgs 10 pts and over 11 rebounds.. But he is an inside threat. Coupet their outside shooter has open looks, great form and misses.. URLR beat them the 1st time 66-62.. But Nowell had 17 pts, leading scorer,6-9 FT line, and 3 bds.. no turn overs.. and a couple of 3's. Last night UL figured that out and won by 12..
Think War hawks can possibly win straight out or at least cover vs a 5'6 Howell less team.. Double team 6'10 Maric inside and UL gets a rare win.. would wager more but UL ranks in the 300's in to may categories..

Ark St +4 over Texas St **
Small play with bobcats sweeping UTA this week.. Think Red Wolves can keep this close. Eaton is tough and inside Fields will be able to score inside. Think this games goes down to the wire. Bobcats play better defense and with the recent ats trends one is 7-0 at home and the other is 4-0 on the road. Think this should be Tx St -1..

ULaf -4 over UTA ***
I like those 2 Cagin gd in Russell and Wilson. Gueye the soccer kid is 6'9.. If he ever figures out how to play basketball he could be a force. I still see him guarding 5'7 Harrell of Tx St one on one.

Ok St +3 over Texas Tech **
Pepper +5 over Mary **
New Mex +1 over Air Force **

got water last night.. wow 5 days w/o water.. today it was in the mid 60's

Box do you have an opinion on the total. I am leaning to the over 130 but I think you have seen these teams play and was interested in you read on the total. Thanks.

gk51 just saw your post but hate playing over-under with Texas St.. they lost there go to guy Pearson who graduated .. for the past 3 years their whole offense went thru him But even playing all these games so far you can see they have no " go to guy" Harrell is the closet and he is about 5'8 so he has to penetrate and make things happen.. If I was coaching against Tx St I would so much pressure on him and double team or trap him.. Once he is trapped at 5'8 and he killed his dribble he is in trouble.. if course easier said then done.. but I never see teams do that..

touchdown it was so nice taking a shower..shaved and washed my hair. I was 12 -4 w/o water [lol]so today it should be interesting. But I think UL won outright over Ark LR.. I have to check that for sure.. we just had a zoom birthday party for my 3 yr old granddaughter. And for the 1st time in 20 or 30 or 40 years my wife made me a cup of coffee to go this morning. I skipped Starbucks[ actually still closed because of water} and went to valero and bought my newspaper and played lotto.. saved $4.09 ..think I might do it again tomorrow morning..
