Sorry for the the intrusion, since I am not a respected capper in any conference. I think Neb will cause problems for young McCoy on the road. Neb or nothing here.

I think that Texas will win this game by at leat 14 points. The Longhorn defense is the key here and although they had a rough game against Baylor last week, they held Ohio State and Oklahoma to their lowest score of the season. McCoy has improved every week and is coming off a game where he passed for six touchdowns. GL

This will be the best offense texas has played this season and the first real road game for the freshman QB. Factor in that Nebraska is 26th in the nation in Pass efficiency defense with the homefield advantage makes for a long day for the kid.

Plus who that is really a good football team has Texas beat. Personally I think Missouri would give them all they can handle.

my 2 cents. gl all

How can you consider Nebraska has a better offense than Ohio State?

I like Texas in this play.

Texas has two starting Offensive Lineman that will be out, Cedrick Dockery and Tony Hills. The heat will be on McCoy. I personally lean towards a Nebraska cover.
Good Luck Guys!

There is a reason why Nebraska has a great offense and decent d... look at their schedule!

It was a fluff schedule with the exception of USC. Look at their remaining games as 3 of 4 are ranked.

Texas by 17 or more. If USC can win 28-10 vs. Nebraska, I like Texas chances just as well.

If you can get this line for 7 or lower, take it all day long!

I am not the one pumping out how great Nebraskas stats are... I am simply saying look at their schedule and you will see why their stats are so good.

Texas is the better team in my opinion reguardless who they have or have not played.

:142smilie ...now thats a funny joke...I think its wildly accepted that the number one team with two Heisman candidates on offense has a better offense than NEB...

Its all due to schedule...I believe OSU is up there stat wise for several things on defense but I'm not going around hyping them up...

Not to mention I think OSU would give USC a better game than Neb...sorry my friend the fact remains that NEB is still a second tier team...

BTW- And strictly from a capping perspective. Theres a reason this line hasnt gone up and it wont. Even with 95% on Texas now. Vegas is raking on this one.

the line opened @ Texas -8 and the public is hammering the longhorns with 81% of the bets placed. what do the books do? Drop the line to Texas -6.5. This is a heavily baited line.

I will be on the huskers getting 7 @ home all day

I have looked at this game in detail, and thought I would share what I found that supports your Texas play.

Texas is 9-1 ATS the last 4 years after they allow 30 pts the week before. Nebraska is a putrid 1-7 ATS vs conference opponents over .500 off BB SU ATS wins, and also 1-7 ATS of DD ATS win vs opponent off SUATS win.

28 points for Texas is a key # here and the total being in the low 50's predicts a good possibility of this happening, and if UT does score 28+ pts, Texas is 14-3 ATS past 2 seasons, and Nebraska a very bad 6-27 ATS when they allow 28+ points since 1992.

If you value trends, this game points Texas all the way!

Good luck!
