UL Laf +4 over Tex St **
Tx St has won 5 in a row. Coming off a sweep of UL Monroe. Is 11-4 and 5-1 in conf. Their defense holds teams to 62 pts . Asberry the skinny gd-fd was named the SUN POWeek Small the 6'9 fd who wants to be a gd is scoring and they have Harrell a solid pt gd who has the ball 75% of the time. Only 5'9 but has real basketball iq, Sule their center is lost in space. Makes a great rebound and put back and on the next play can't handle a pass inside . Laf lost their top player Johnson who transferred this year...and Hardy the gd who was solid They have Russell who is one of the top players in the conf They have some bigs in Gueye and 6'11 Akwuba and Wilson was one of the top freshmen in the Sun Conf last year On my notes from last years scorecard I have 3 stars next to Wilson I have no idea what the stars meant but I think I was saying I like this kid ..
These 2 teams met 2 times already splitting .. both teams are hot with Bobcats on a streak and Laf winning 2 or 3 in a row. Laf plays soft defense where Bobcats play tough defense Laf has a little more offense .. I thought the line should be -1 or -2 Tx St so I will take the underdog and get a few points.
Its been over 6 weeks that Tx St has had a home game and its a 4.00 central start.. and I'm going so after today game I should get a good read on tomorrows game. Sun games..
