Season to date: 14-9 +7.37 units
Yesterday 2-1 +2.6 units
5 games on card, none of them super exciting or jump out at me. Two games I'll take my chances with though.
Atlanta -.5 1 unit (-135). Atlanta went 1-2 on their three game road trip and now get to come home for a game before heading out on another 3 game road trip. Had they not had a day of rest, I might not play this game, but they did and all the nuances of a brief home trip don't necessarily apply here. San Jose is just a bad team and although Nabakov isn't terrible, he's barely clinging on to 90% saves for the season. Even with all the turmoil surrounding atlanta they can still score this year. San Jose should be satisfied with a tie and a win in their last 2 and resort back to their awful self. Moneyline a little steep but thankfully everyone taking the half goal has bet this down to a manageable number to lay the half.
Quackers moneyline 1 unit (-125) Chicago has lost only once in their last 7 and that came at home to pitt a few days ago. But that game with archrival St. Louis took a lot out of them yesterday. Anaheim is playing in a back to back situation coming off a loss to the islanders, but so is Chicago, plus its their third in 4. Anaheim is 4-0-2 in their last 6 vs. the blowhawks. Although a tie is definitely a possibility, I just think Anaheim is the better team. Its gonna take a great game from Thiebault to stop the quackers.
Good Luck to All
