Buffalo +17
Love this spot for the Bills. Completely disrespected and playing with nothing to lose. Allen's big frame and underappreciated mobility will lead to several plays with his feet that will keep Minnesota linebackers on their toes. Ivory and Murphy in the backfield offers a unique 1-2 punch despite not being regular starters. Expect to see Ivory catch a few more balls on checkdowns by the young QB. Kelvin Benjamin's size is finally used to his advantage against the Minnesota secondary. The Vikings team that played GB to a tie last week isn't as good as they may seem in my eyes. I like this one so much that the moneyline of +900 will get a play as well.
Houston -6
The Defensive Line of the Texans will keep Eli Manning looking like he needed to retire when his big brother did. Keying on Beckham will leave some opportunities for Barkley, Engram and Shepherd, but the Houston offense will put too many points on the board with the deep threat of Fuller being a perfect compliment to the attention that Hopkins draws underneath. Expect a nice day from Miller out of the backfield as well. Houston by double digits.
Carolina -2.5
With the loss of Greg Olsen, Newton is having to spread the ball around a little more and its paying dividends. New addition Wright is another option to go along with Funchess and McCaffrey out of the backfield is a home run threat. Newtons legs and size especially inside the red zone creates too many options for Cincy to stop.
New Orleans ML
Plain and simple, I just trust Drew Brees a lot more than I do Matt Ryan. Kamara, Thomas, Ginn, Brees just make me feel a whole lot more comfortable than Ryan, Coleman, Jones and company. History has shown that Ryan has a tendency to key on Jones too much in high pressure moments and I suspect the same is the case today. I like New Orleans in a shootout.
Tennessee +10
The Titans are too smart to let this one turn into a scenario were they'll have to play from 14 down or more. They'll use Henry and Lewis to slow the pace down and keep Gabbert from having to do too much looking down the field. The Jags will win this one, but closer than the experts think.
