It was a struggle for me to even figure out I should start my own thread if I have something to say, and not tack it on where it may not be appreciated.
Oakland(-5) @ 2-3*
Everytime I shuffle the deck, this is the card that comes out on top. Is it an ace? I'll be playing it.
Just one angle on why this is the spot for a reversal: For whatever reasons, Griese is not delivering any fearsome results.
K.C.(+5) @ 1unit
This is the 5 point spread that looks like a trap to me. I like San Diego, but not in this spot after emerging and exhausting in the last two games; KC would like to run the ball, but may be effective with the pass; is that a prescription for liking a game Under the total (just asking)?
S.F. (-7) @ 2 units
I was thinking without knowing that it was wise to buy this 1/2 point with a multiple unit play.
While the line makes sense despite the 9.5 point line I predicted, I like the 49ers class to send Batch and the Lions down the road without letting the game come down to a single play.
Clev/Chi(Over 34) @ 1 unit
Playing totals is virtually uncharted territory for me.
I thought points would be scored, it is probably contrarian, and RobertBIrish and his computer give me some confidence in my way of seeing this match up.
Parlay (0.5* @ 15-1)
Oak -5
S.F. -7.5
K.C. +5
Seat -2.5
Improving Seattle meets improving Washington, and I like one over the other in this spot in our nation's capital. Another game I had a suspicion would be in line with the RobertB Irish computer. You would think that plays like this would be more popular given the way Holmgren loves to demonstrate his Phi Beta Kappa in coaching (oh, my) among his peers.
Games I can regret not selecting:
Jax(-3)
N.O.(+6.5)
Ind(-4)
What a beautiful day for being a lousy fool.
