Sorry had a nice long write up on ND over the Hall.It's not a strong play but ND is a better defensive team,better Fg%shooters,better coach,better on the bds,etc.Playing at the Meadowlands is really no home court advantage.In fact many ND alums from the area will be there supporting the vistors.Anyway....
St Johns-3 over Vir Tech.
Jarvis on the radio and newspapers has been talking about this game .It's back to the basics.Ever since lyr's upset at VT the clouds have been dark over the Storm.In todays paper they said the storm lost 9 of their next 12.This yr they are just avg.They are 4-5 in the BE.If they don't get to .500 today its all she wrote.
They have just lost 3 str.Conn by 5,and SH by 2.VT at home lost to Nova by 2,Miami 9,Hall 8,and Conn 35.
St Johns can't shoot vs zones.hatten is their only threat and his fg% isn't great.Their 3rd leading scorer Shaw is hurting.Bangura who is 3rd in assits is thinking about transfering again.I don't think he made the trip today.Stanley a walk on played 30 minuts the other day and had 9 pts and 8 rebs.But he had 4 TO's and made some stupid fouls and missed a layup,and 2 Ft's with 30 seconds left.king will see more action and Glover inside needs to step up.VT has a poor rebounding team,poor defense and bad FT shooting.
Johnnies play a little better defense.Think they can avenge VT's big win last yr and 1st BE win.I see the Johnnies up by 2 or 3 with 10 seconds left and hatten has the ball.He either sinks the FT's for the cover or hits a jumper.
Loy-md +10.5 over Marist.
I'm 3-0 with Loy. in last 3 games.Marist has killed them the past 5 yrs by double digits every time.Not supossed to "marry" teams.One more time today.
I'll take dayton -8 over Bonnies.Series has been close but Bonnies have been so inconsistent on the rd.Losing to Fordham, and GW.Dayton at home with its shooting and rebounding are tough.
