If I don't try to recap the Texas St-Ga St game will forget...1st of all Ga St wins and cover and even the over came in...but it was a crazy game...Simonds the most talented and pre-season POY of the Sun conf has to be the biggest asshole I have ever seen...he will be in the NBA next yr and he knows it...talking smack all game..dirty player and the refs let him get away with it....arguing with his teammates,the refs and fans...then with 8 minutes in the 1st half he refuses to sit with his team in a timeout...an asst coach says something and all hell breaks looses.. Simonds say " I;m tired of your shit,and motions the coach to come over ..a player is holding Simonds but he is still gesturing to fight him..cursing him out MF this MF that..Hunter the head coach is not aware of the possible throw down between his asst and his star... then another asst tells Hunter what just happened...so Hunter comes over and Simonds is still talking smack...Hunter takes him out of the game as he is still cursing...goodbye-season over...but Tx St opens up a 8 point lead and Hunter puts him back in...wow...with 5 minutes left in the half...Simonds when sitting on the bench is not on the bench..he is sitting on a chair past the players,coaches ,team manager and stat person...all the way over the corner...when Hunter walks over to him as he is still pouting that is when I thought Hunter would say... "son get your ass in the lockeroom ,take a shower and we'll meet you on the bus"...but of course I;m dreaming...
in the 2nd half maybe about 4 or 5 minutes into it there is a loose ball, and some players try to jump on it..all of a sudden Simonds comes running over to his bench screaming and cursing..the asst coaches are holding him so he doesn;t run over to the other bench...refs are talking trying to figure out what happened...they go to the video and after another 10 minute delay they announce Pearson Tx top scorer and best player has been ejected for flagrant foul..no one saw what happened but I guess that was why Simonds was out of control..he had been talking smack to Pearson all game ..so I'm sure frustration or something happened to warrant him getting ejected..so Tx played w/o him almost the entire 2nd half..and thats when Ga St took control... I did forget a little earlier 6'9 Tyson for Ga tried to block a shot but was called foe his 4th foul...totally out of control walking away screaming..the ref went the other way..then Tyson still cursing walked back over to the ref and said.." you suck,fuck you".. bing Tec...now he just got his 4th on the call...now he gets a 5th and fouled out..When Tyson finds out he has fouled out he starts up again until 2 players force him over to the bench...
I am loving all of this because I'm right behind the Ga bench..Hunter is embarrassed because he has no control of this team...his players were making faces behind,smirking and laughing..but he is an animated coach walking and talking the whole game...they are 13-2 and do have some talent...but at some point with that discipline it will come back to bite your ass
I'm not sure how I won both plays also hitting the over...but if Pearson was playing it could of made a difference.
Back tomorrow with a maybe one play..need to rest after a long day....lost a lot of games...but UTSA came through.. thanks for the comments
