Thanks Boundbook,

Actually, I've been kickin' around MJs since 2001 under the name in my signature liine.

Mostly in baseball. Some college hoops. Hardly any NBA or NFL.

Never did like my old "handle".....way back the wife suggested it.

I finally asked Jack if I could change it and he said OK, but that I would lose all records and would have to start over.

No biggie.

New handle is not a toughie.....it's the state I live in and the year I was born.

As nearly everyone knows, the "atmosphere" here at MJs is ourstanding and even occasionally when someone gets out of line.......well......MJ works his magic and.....poof....end of problem.

In any event, I very much appreciate your welcome to me and will do my best for the board in my posts.

gman,

We live in Juneau and you shoulda seen Boozer here in high school.

Talk about a man among boys.

Not surprisingly, he would just flat dominate entire games. Nice kid....don't know how he has changed since Duke or turning pro, tho.

He was certainly fun to watch here on friday nights.

not a stretch to say boozer is one of the most well-liked and well-respected cleveland pro athletes in any sport. a definite class act and an absolute steal for the cavs in the 2nd round last year. hes just a solid guy. does lots in the community as well.

dont get me started on his duke (and cleveland) predecessor, trajan langdon. you can have him back, the mainland doesnt want him.

last i heard he was playing in italy or something. talk about a bust

gman,

I hadn't noticed where you are located, but you're watchin' him all the time now.

What you say about Boozer really rings true. He was that way here.

As far as Langdon is concerned, he was an Anchorage player. That's 1000 miles away from us. I was aware of him and his going to Duke but lost track of him immediately.

Went 2 - 2 - 1 today.

Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, but not by much.

See you all tomorrow.
