Hudson Valley area.....NY
Sun conf
Doing well in these games..since I have seen almost every team play..so get a 'seeing eye " advantage that still has holes in it

Texas St -2.5over So Bama ****
My adopted team...having watched almost all there home games can tell you what out of bounds play they will run...but its there defense that has been almost unreal at times..this year they have added some more offense which is the reason why they are 12-4 and in 1st place.....Kasper is an amazing coach and will be sucked up this year by some big school...there defensive schemes are pressure and pressure..they slide with the screen and then trap...everyone rotates to passing lanes...they beat Troy the other nite 58-44..holding any D-1 team to 44 pts in otself is amazing..of course Troy was missing Varnardo their top scorer..Tx beat the Jags 72-69 at home...but Bobcats have now won 6 of last 7 and Troy has lost 4 of last 5 losing the other nite to UTA 75-57... Tx state can win the Sun conf but its only 1 game up on both Georgia's South and State...and if you guys read my posts you know I love those 2 teams ...the top 2 seeds in this Sun Tourny get double byes...don't think the Bobcats will stumble today and win and cover...

UTA -3.5 over Troy ****
If Varnado is out I love the Mavs today.. Troy has lost 4 of last 5,8 of last 9..they have a terrible defense and one big time scorer in Varnardo..they cannot shoot from the perimeter but have a weak inside game...UTA plays great defense and has Warren who can score. has a beard that is bigger then James Harden.Dennis was amzing when they played Tx St is an outstanding gd....in all my years going to Tx St games about 4 or 5 are in the NBA now.. Dennis was the most impressive maybe even to my Tookie Brown..this is a solid team and Odgen the coach knows his stuff...if anyone hears on the Varnado status would appreciate it...

UL Monroe -5 over Coastal ***
UL to me is the most dangerous team in the Sun...these guys can score...looking at my note and program of the UL -Tex St game
Ertel, skinny white kid, great ball handler, can shoot the 3 and penetrate...very quick..only a soph...hit about 2 or 3 3's..had a great game.Munnings a 6'6 skinny fd...loved him last yr..has ups, rebounds and attacks the basket, has outside shooting range..tough to stop..outstanding passer and see's the floor and open man...I think the MVP of the team... Smith the superstar..might win POY of Sun..avg 22 but Tx stopped his scoring..but had big assists and rebounded...very unselfish..made a few spectacular plays and has big time ups..an NBA prospect...Wahington a 6'8 post player..skinny but has quick post moves..soft touch..looks like is 17 years old..Williams at 6'4...plays like Dr J..attacks the basket, drives ans had a few one handed dunks...excellent coach in Richards..Total control...weakness,defense...but with Smith think could beat anybody on any given nite in the DSun

Coastal did beat them 92-81 the 1st time..didn't talk about UL's defense...

Ga St -12 over Ark St ***
Simonds and co to much...Ga is 1 game back of title..no way they aren't focused...
Ga Southern --8.5 over Arl LR ***
Tookie,Tookie and Tookie...win by double digits

both Georgia's win and cover...

Tex Tech -3.5 over TCU **

Virginia -17 over Pitt ****
Blowout game..Pitt can't score and Cavs defense is amazing..Pitt scored 48 pts the other nite vs Clemson..Vir held Clemson to 43 pts awhile back..so if I'm right Pitt will score 22 pts today vs Vir...not really but close..Vir wins by +20

Bonnies -6 over GWash **
Bonnies on fire...won 5 in a row..those 2 frosh are playing outstanding and playing better in every game..

Utah +6 over Col **
Hofstra -7.5 over Del **
Hof beat them 91-46 in 1st game...I'll give Del another 30 pts and they still lose

Iowa St pk over Texas **
Going to the game...Texas has melt downs 24-7..a lot of talent ..I like what the orangeblood site said.." I can't decide if Shaka basketball is a train wreck, horror show, tragic comedy or simply cursed"...what a great line...I'll take the cyclones for a small play

way to may games...
yest
9-5 +4.80
380-350 -18.70

good luck today to every body

see you doglover at the game.. I was released last nite...was so hungry went straight to Jack in the box and had 4 greasy taco's...for $1.99 does anybody else ever eat those taco's i love them :mj07:

Sorry,,,just got out of the institution and after the Iowa St Texas game going to go back and check in..I'm sorry..thank you for pointing that out to me..same *'s though

Varnardo is out didn't realize he was suspended also beside concussion...wonder if his concussion was related to his suspension... maybe he head butted a coach..oops sorry that only happens to Iona players..

Troy basketball standout Jordan Varnado has been suspended indefinitely from the men?s basketball team, per a statement given to the media at Saturday?s home matchup against South Alabama.

The senior forward was dismissed due to a violation of team rules, according to Troy Athletics.

Varnado, from Brownsville, Tennessee, led the Trojans on both ends of the court, statistically leading Troy in points, blocks, rebounds, and field goals made, as well as points per game during a stellar sophomore campaign. Two years ago, the Trojans made a sweep through the Sun Belt tournament, clinching a spot in the NCAA tournament, matching up with the No. 2 seeded Duke Blue Devils in the first round.

Troy was handed the loss by Jayson Tatum and Grayson Allen?s Blue Devils, but not before Varnado posted 18 points and 10 rebounds on Troy?s biggest stage in years.

Varnado was named to the All-Sun Belt First Team in the same season, the first Trojan to earn the honor in seven seasons.
