Texas -8.5 over Tex AM **
Hate giving the Longhorns that many points despite there best start ever and 6-1 record...they have many problems.. very inconsistent shooting esp from the 3.. but Jones who sat out all last yr has elevated there outside shooting...they have one of the best pt gd s in the country in Coleman ..he avgs 14 pts and 4 assists a game...Ramey the other gd is really a pt gd too.. so both gds are really pt gds and that presents a problem for the opposing team...Febres the other gd who gets more open jumpers is so inconsistent ..and he could be 0-8 and he will continue to take them.,,inside soph Lidell is now starting...and Sims is the post player avg 9 pts and 7 bds...even 6'11 frosh Jones is playing well...they play very good defense but Shaka is a terrible game coach..he did hire a new asst coach from Michigan who has been an added surprise...I think if Jones can keep shooting like he does and Shaka gets his coaching in order they should beat a bad tex AM team... AM has Buzz as there coach but he will need a year or two to get things organized.. AM just lost to Fairfield a MAAC team pre seasoned for 4th or 5th ..they lost Gilder to Zaga this year.. Starks was thrown off who was there best player..they have had injuries lost 3 in a row to Harvard,Temple and Fair...there best player is Flagg a 6'7 gd and Nebo vame back a few games ago..think Texas should win this game in Fort Worth a nuetral site...by 10 or 12 pts...
