Foxes on offense are pretty bad avg 62 pts a game ranking 332th in the country. Assist to ratio one of the worst,rebounding bad,3 pt% FG%,FT% all bad.. so how are they 10-9.. well Dunne the former St Peters coach is doing exactly what he did at Peter. Offense bad but defense solid. Foxes on defense give up 63 pts a game ranking them 36th.. its Dunn's St Peter style of basketball Foxes have split with almost everybody but swept Fairfield and Manhattan but got swept by Monmouth. They have 2 players avs double figures. and Cubbage who missed almost half the season is back. I like Quinn because they do have some offense and should control the paint.. they are not as good on defense as Foxes but think they have enough offense to win outright,
WKU -16 over FIU *****
WKU had won 6 or 7 and then got smoked by Houston .WKU has the aircraft carrier in Bassey at 6'11. FIU has no defense in the perimeter and none in the paint. Think Hilltoppers take there 81-57 beat down by the Cougs and just run all over FIU and win by +20
Nevada +7.5 over Utah St **
recap UTSA beat UAB and Jivan did play his last game and score 32 points. Tex St again subbed and again almost lost to UL Monroe.. Texas shot 7-24 from the 3 vs Tex Tech despite its height advantage Shacka's game plan was good but then his gds are so uncontrollable I loved what Pete Gillin the CBS announcer said" Texas abandoning going in the paint .. " the banks are closed on Saturdays I guess"
I did not go to the Texas St game . had to dog babysit my son's dog on the other side of town.. and had lunch with an homeless man thats another story. WKU top play
