Playing in New Rochelle this afternoon Have some talent with Nelly who can score and Jenkins .Nelly is 6'9 and can dominate the smaller MAAC conference teams He can impact the game on both ends. Pitino plays that pressure defense and plays full court pressure all the time. Then he has Slazinski and with there ball movement if he is left open he will nail it from where ever he sets up. He does like to be behind the 3 and is deadly. Jenkins at gd plays so fast. Peter doesn't have enough offense to keep up. Think Peter loses this by at least 20 points.

Was at Tex St- Troy game last night. Both teams kept shooting 3's and were a combined unreal stats . The score was 22-20 at the half and Troy won 55-50 Both teams looked sloppy and played bad. I sat with the Troy parents of the players. They had about 50 fans compared to 150 Tx St fans. No cheerleaders or drill team dancers showed up but the band had 20. Didn't come close to the free pizza hut give away because there were to many Troy fans in my section. It was a pick'im game and I had the winner Troy. Harrell was frustrated because I think the other teams in the Sun conf now know if you stop him you stop Tex St I was looking at his teammates stats and they 9,8,6 points. Scott Cross was the Troy coach and I remember him when he coached at UTA. Years ago I told the story of him with a talented UTA team playing Tex St His star player came out of the game and was upset He sat behind a Gatorade Igloo and he was somewhat hidden . Cross thought he left the gym and went into the lockeroom and was furious His asst coaches thought the same. But UTA needed this kid back in the game I wanted to tell Cross he is behind the gatorade cooler and you guys can't see him. " please coach I have $ on you to beat Tex St.. lol Finally an asst coach informed Cross about his super star was on the bench Cross put him back in and he scored a few points and UTA won and covered,
There was a part of me sitting right behind Cross yesterday and was going to ask him " coach do you remember the night your superstar was hiding behind the Gatorade cooler and you thought he left the gym" Anyway it was a sloppy game and Troy didn't impress me at all. The parents of the Troy team were great.
Big game in about an hour. Giants are playing the Colts and we are -5 . If we win we are in the playoffs
